Blimey, I thought I was well 'ard because I once rowed 90-odd miles on the Thames from Oxford to Kingston. Only took me a weekend and I'm ashamed to admit I had a McDonald's for my dinner after the first day.

However, thinking about it navigating locks is obviously much more perilous than 50-foot ocean waves, obviously.
