V5C transfer date a cause for concern?

Purchased a new (used) car. Records show the last transfer date as March 2019. It is been in the dealership - and a reputable one at that for just under 2 months. They claim to HPI check everything and service whatever needs servicing.

Why would the records not be showing the previous transfer as 03/21? Does the transfer to a dealership not clock with them not being counted as a 'previous owner' or something?

Hoping something dodgy hasn't slipped through the net!

Nothing to worry about. On HPI checks and DVLA vehicle checks online, the last date change for V5 is for the previous owner and never takes into consideration when the vehicle goes into trade.
