It's that time of year again. Council say its cancelled due to corona virus but police say its allowed to go ahead? Anyone the wiser?

Is that the one where lots of people of a particular travelling persuasion turn up, steal everything local, and cause havoc generally?

After having a root around and someone asking the orgnaiser if it's on, "NO it's not there are a few horses there insuring the Charter is kept in place."

So not on but horses will be there. Hmmm.....

Apparently the lorries are already turning up but police have said anyone coming will be engaged with and action enforced if necessary.

There are groups of "them" all over the area and all local pubs are shutting on Thursday. The pubs were ringing each other last night with temporary closures to keep them out as they roamed the area. Already lots of local thefts, the unit next to mine near Droxford had a load of catalysts taken the other night.

Presumably the recently closures of the A33 while people raced horses to death and then dumped them on the verge are entirely unconnected.

The Police need to get a grip of this and do something about it.
Openly breaking the law and yet allowed to get away with it. Is there not some legal bod who can take up the case and have the Police commissioner prosecuted for dereliction of duty?
