it’s getting Into a regular thing seeing these nuisance kids going past on there off road scrambler bikes with no number plates etc on the road .some are also known for stealing
Another one comes past this afternoon on a 250 scooter but this one did have a number plate but didn’t catch it .the 2 kids on it were only about 15 with no helmets etc and riding like an idiot but had covered there faces so hard to identify
I even know what road some of them live in but I definitely don’t want to be involved as this lead to trouble .I could tip off the police without giving any personal details?

Any thoughts please to get the illegal vehicles off the road?

Call the police and express your concerns, I can’t imagine they would drop you in it.

Or if you don’t want to do that, get a friend to call on your behalf.

Is it worth it. We had one bike trip a camera every night. Action was only taken after a lot of flashes with no cash and then only when one local beat officer recognised the occupants. Proves that local intelligence beats cameras.

It won't be a police matter or some such bks. Had a hire car stolen the other day, and apparently that wasn't a police matter either. tts.

Got a couple here around the lanes too - they are probably in their 20's!

They never seem to manage to be on the road at the same time as the silaging contractors, (who also drive like complete ****s) - shame as a meeting of minds there would have great benefit for the community...

About the same here - lots of badly driven tractors with enormous trailers around at the moment!!
There are also a couple of local lads that are borderline 'oiks': riding around Honda Groms in T shirts/shorts, no gloves.... They wear helmets & the bikes appear to be legal, but the crap standard of riding & flouting of speed limits is scary! I think there is a high chance of an 'off', but its a really tough way to learn how bad road rash can be if you're in hospital with multiple skin grafts....

You have to know where they are parked to make best use of them. Easier to spot on bikes too where as on cars, the tyre width and bodywork makes them harder to see.

had this a couple of years back, kids on bikes using a footpath to get to the woods. Same 2/3 bikes every week.

Emailed the local PCSO with details, no idea if they caught them but I've not heard a bike go up for a a very long time now.

Great point. Fun to be had with 12mm ply and a nail gun.
