Been driving for 29 years and caught speeding in Germany (twice but lived there for 8 years) and Czech Republic but never had any points (or courses) in the UK. I stick to 30s/40s then get heavy footed above that.

Two separate sets of points, back in the 70s, on a motorbike. Nothing since then (two SACs though).

Really annoyed about the points, although as they were earned when I was really annoyed about the traffic on the M6, I probably should relax a bit. I'm mostly annoyed because I know the camera is there. I've done 3 SACs and a MAC since 2010. I've bought a slower bike now.

Got 3 points for speeding in 1983, mind I was drifting on the local roundabout when he spotted me so lucky to only end up with a speeding ticket. Been clean since. May have done the odd speed awareness course though.

Got 3 points due to speed camera on a Scotland trip in 2002.
No points before that, and none since (or SACs).

Passed my car test in 71 and bike test a couple of years later.

I’ve mostly had a clean licence since then, never having more than 3 points at any given time with the exception of the speeding offence when I got 6 points. It’s been clean for about 8 years now.

I’m happy with that. I’m usually a bit over the limit on a decent bit of road especially on the bike and if I’m caught then it’s the price I pay.

I do admit to doing utterly stupid speeds on more than one occasion that where I live (Scotland) would have got me jail time. Even more stupid as I needed my licence for work.

I did get a NIP (36 in a 30) and duly returned it with my new overseas address (I moved within days of getting it) and never heard anymore.

Has made me keep to the limits since returning though.

3 Points for speeding in 1998 about 12 months after I passed my test. Speed was 47 in a 40.

Clean ever since then.

Been driving for almost 36 years. Got 3 points on my licence driving between Kentford and Newmarket in 2005. Was doing 67 on a 60 road.

No points in yet, I have had the pleasure of 2 courses though - one for 36 in a 30 and one for a red light camera

Passed in '87. 3 points in '96 on the M6 when the PC in the unmarked car that I overtook sportingly offered to call it 98mph. Think I've done about 450,000 miles since without points.

3 points 25 years ago, from a camera in Wales.

Subsequently read that lots of fines/points had been quashed, as the signs were wrong/in the wrong place, but I considered it a fair cop so didn't pursue.
