We are trying to purchase a house that has Solar panels on the roof.

The panels were subject to an "Airspace lease" from a company called Norton Energy SLS Ltd which I believe has gone into Adminstration.
Receivers were one company which then changed to another, neither of which seem to answer the phone.
I have left emails for the Administrators and the company who may have taken over the lease.

Question is :- I don't think the vendor has been receiving any payment for the electricity produced so we can't back track to the current owner of the lease.
Is there any solution and does anyone else know of a similar situation and who may have taken over Norton's leases?

Thanks

You might want to check if the house is listed in the charges here

https://find-and-update.company-information.servic...

They are still trading.

Hi,

Norton has been sold to aviva investors.

All of the directors of the organisation on companies house are part of aviva investors according to LinkedIn.

You probably need a) a solicitor/leasehold solicitor b) email aviva investors. You can probably guess there email addresses from their names.

Thanks Both
I've just received a reply from the Administrators advising that a sister company are still trading, Norton Energy SLS (was Norton Energy Solutions), but cannot get a phone or email for these? Have written to them in case I can't get contact info.

Edited.

On companies house there is a list of charges associated to the company Norton, see if your property is listed there. That should confirm it.

Norton energy solutions is owned by aviva investors.
