What is the best mobile speed camera device?
Discussion
This is obviously a question that has been asked many times but which speed camera detection device picks up mobile cameras and which is the best.
After being caught on the m62 this morning, cruising at 85 on my way to the coast the nightmare van was parked in the distance aiming right at me. There wasn’t another car on the motorway so it annoys the hell out of me. Sorry I’m ranting now. But need to get so speed detection device or slow down but on a Sunday morning blast that’s not happening
Thanks for any help

As a detection device, the Valentine 1 is most definitely up there.

If you get a ping from a laser, it's already too late
As others have mentioned, stick with Waze.

Isn’t it the police rules that they can only stay in a location for commutes (30-60?).
Sorry, beef, but I really don’t know what you mean by that? Commutes 30-60?NGee said:
I find the speedometer works quite well. You don't need lots of expensive gadgetry, you don't have to pay any fines and since it's been compulsory since 1937, you get one free with every car you buy.
An absolute bargain!
You always got one don’t you!!!An absolute bargain!
Thanks for the advice!
My approach hasn’t changed in ten years.
I have an old Standalone sat nav with all the mobile camera locations included as Points of Interest. I stick it up in map only mode, whenever I travel somewhere unfamiliar, even though all our cars have built in Satnav.
When I am approaching one of these hotspots it beeps so I can just check my speed until I pass the obvious camera van lay by or overhead bridge.
