Red Light Cameras - What is their reach/distance?

I can't imagine it would cover the second one, it's too far away and there is little need to control it...

I imagine that camera only triggers for the lights immediately adjacent to it.

How would the camera know the other set of lights are red to arm itself. Doesn’t seem plausible
