I get as annoyed as the next guy when you go through temp roadworks with 50 signs, but I stick to them. Hardly difficult is it ?

Sorry to say, she deserves the ban. If she cannot assess the situation (huge red speed limits) and act accordingly (slow down) she is not fit to drive.

I'm surprised she was pinged as low as 58. I'll do an indicated 60 through most 50mph sections without issue and usually I'm not the quickest. She was probably passing a lot of traffic at a speed differential of a walk.

I don't understand how she managed to clock up these offences over 19 days without recieving I any NIPs within that period? Surely she have had them arriving within 14 days?

Whilst I surprised she lost her licence and don't think she should have, mitigating circumstances etcetera.

How stupid is she to ignore the, I'm guessing, average speed cameras. Or do we think she is one of these " brake for the camera and I'm fine" idiots.

Plenty of people dawdle along ( usually looking terrified) at 50 -55 forcing lorries out into lane 2 to overtake them.

I saw this story today, and was tempted to start a thread.

I'm sure there's a lot of people who routinely speed on motorways. There but the grace of God etc.

It is hell of a punishment for what are on the face of it pretty trivial levels of speed (58 in a 50? Well blow me down)

Still, rule number one is don't get caught, so it's unlucky the nips didn't come through more promptly.
