Motorcycle parking “out of marked bay”

Been sent a letter from private parking company for Parking outside of marked bay on a small shopping complex. Parked well out of the way on the surrounding path not blocking a route or causing any obstruction whatsoever. I thought I was being courteous by keeping out of the way and not taking up a full space on a busy afternoon. Obviously I’m wrong so I won’t do it again but is there anything I can say to try and get it cancelled. Petty, lack of common sense things like this make me feel deflated.
Find out who the asset management company is who actually run the place rather than the shopping centre management, and don't bother with the parking company at the moment.
Write to one specific individual in the company, not the CEO or whatever, someone who is most likely to deal with the day to day stuff. Be polite!
Enclose copies of your receipt/s so you can prove you didn't use the place for free parking while you went elsewhere. Point out to them you've parked there before with no fine being issued.
Tell them it's impossible to prove in court that they suffered a loss, that they suffered any inconvenience, that any car park user suffered any loss or inconvenience, and that you actually helped someone with limited mobility who needed a car parking space close to the entrance by not taking one up with such a small vehicle as yours.
Tell them if the fine isn't cancelled you have to expect to appear in court to present your own evidence, that being all CCTV recordings of you shopping as well as visiting the site, and when you leave it. You will also have the right to make a claim for time spent on making your defence as well as travel to court and loss of earnings.
The fine should not have been issued because no loss or inconvenience was suffered by anyone and I ask you to cancel 'Some Parking Company Fine Number 1234567890' please.
If you can come up with other proper reasons why a ticket should not have been issued, then include that (as in, was this a cycle parking area that doesn't have a sign up prohibiting motorcycles, therefore being easy to misinterpret).

I found a similar letter myself and used it as a basis to have a fine cancelled at a shopping centre by writing to the commercial asset managers. Didn't bother with the parking company, and the centre management contacted me to cancel the fine, so it definitely worked.

No I wasn't but I would argue that, as OP stated, with the bike being tucked away it still didn't cause anyone loss or inconvenience. Maybe a successful SAR for all CCTV evidence would prove that either way.
If a car was tucked away on the path, would that be okay?What a great way to circumvent their parking charges - "But there was no loss, I wasn't even taking up a parking space!"
Don’t think I can be bothered just have to accept we live in a petty world or country and pay up.
Obviously a car parked on a pathway is a little different in that it’s 4 times the size. I’m quite happy to park in a normal free space from now on but I’ve always avoided it as I understand it can be frustrating trying to park when it’s busy only to see a quarter of a space taken up by a motorbike when it could be just parked out the way on a unused pavement area.
It was a corner out the way that couldn’t be used by cars as the parked cars in the corner prevent anyone driving into it although a motorbike and pushbike had been going through it fine as there were lots of pushbikes there as well.
