DVLA compansation?

It is in all over the internet about the incompatance of the DVLA with people waiting months for their licences. I myself been waiting 8 months.

I am just wonder how is it that the DVLA don't have to pay compensation or are never sued?

You could get a lawyar to write a threatening letter, but it could be seen as vaxatious litigation

It shouldn't, but when people can't work, they miss holidays, weddings or other family events because they can't drive or hire a car abroad and it drags on for months and months then is it that unreasnable to ask why compansation isn't being paid?

There was a thread on a PH trucker who had DVLA troubles over medical competance that caused loss.
Relevance may be tangential and I can't recall if any reward was made.

Back when I was a lot younger, I'm sure there was a strike or something resulting in huge backlogs, they changed the law so you could ride a moped if you'd applied for a licence, even if you'd not received it?

I guess the rules have changed more than a few times since then?
