Sub Contractor Copies in Client to Contract Price Dispute

A sub contractor I was in dispute with over his invoice due to excessive hours charged, cc’d client in to an email detailing financial details.

Perhaps write privately to the client setting out your position although the client has probably realised the subby is a dick

Unless you've got a way of proving his claimed hours are wrong, not much you can do but pay or argue? His word against yours and small claims will favour him if he proves you authorised the work.
