Slight damage in transit - who pays insurance excess?
Discussion
Hi,
My car got a slight dent in the door whilst shipping from the US. It's not "bad" but it will go through insurance as there's a bit of paint needed.
There was an marine insurance excess of £450 and I automatically assumed that it would be me that paid.
Before I cough up, is that normally the case? If it is, that's fine, but just wanted to check. The quote and documentation that I signed is inconclusive.
Thanks very much.
