Just coming home from work and noticed a mobile speed camera the transit type with the speed camera decals on both the back windows which where both shut. Think I was doing about 67 before noticing the van, do you guys think the van was in operation as both windows shut and like I said they had white speed camera decals on them so no clear view I wouldn’t of thought.
Couldn’t post this in the speed plod forum as am new on here

Any help appreciated

They sometimes have front windows as well as rear ones, high up, above the windscreen, to get Motorcycle numberplates!
The camera might have been there?

67 on the speedo will be reading higher than the actual speed and the speed cameras operate on +10%+2mph before you get a ticket so likely safe even if it was active.

It doesn't really matter which way your travelling if they have front and rear cameras!
Anyway hopefully you'll be OK as you won't get a NIP until 68mph

Should be ok at 67 (likely 65 real speed). However, they get you from waaaay further back than you think, hence their usual dodgy positioning.
