Tripod Speed Cameras - do they have a linked camera in van?
Discussion
Hi,
Earlier today was riding on my motorbike through Coniston Cold on the A65. Came round a bend and there was a speed camera tripod with operator, with their small van just behind them.
I will be borderline if I do or do not get a letter through the post.
Are these tripod cameras linked to any other devices to record registration as you go past on a motorbike? Or would the operator have to physically spin the camera around and / or note the registration down?

Thanks. Good to know what they do on those instances. I could see them in my mirror after I went past and they definitely didn't turn around to look at me after I had gone past. If anything they stopped "sighting" after me and the car in front had gone past them, and just stood looking for next lot of traffic to come round the corner. Shall have to see if I have a letter incoming!
