Speeding ticket - 14 days
Discussion
Alright guys
Been caught speeding in the work van.
What normally happens is the original NIP will get sent to my boss as its registered to the company, he fills the form in with my details and sends it back but he also sends me a photocopy of the NIP and the form so I know I've got one coming, and then I get sent an NIP with my details on.
On the NIP sent to my boss it has the date of the offence as 07/06/2022 and the date at the top of the NIP is 29/06/22.
Do I have any grounds to appeal based on this NIP being issued outside the 14 days? The fact the NIP is dated for the 29th is evidence that they hadn't even written up the NIP within the 14 days nevermind whether the registered keeper has received it.
Thanks in advance
-Edit- Just remembered the company I work for lease the vans from VW so I guess the notice would of gone to them first so I probably dont have any grounds to appeal.
