I've been fined before on the Dartford tunnel but there other places I've been this week saying there are tolls on route.
I've been to/past Bournemouth, Weymouth, ringstead, Plymouth, boldeva , Bristol and bath. If that helps. Thanks.
The gov website is useless as usual. And with many scam sites. I don't know what to do.

Only you would know if you drove past signs telling you a toll was payable as there are on the Dartford Bridge, the Mersey bridges, the London congestion zone etc.
If you weren’t paying attention there isn’t much we can do to help and it is dangerous to admit on here that you weren’t paying attention.
Try putting your route into Google maps with avid tolls set - if you entered one Google won’t allow the route.

Agree that all you can do is re-map your actual route on Google or a GPS and if it flags toll roads which you then believe you did indeed use, go online/call them and pay.
Maybe calling to pay is a good idea as they can see if there is indeed a ticket on your reg about to expire? (Although I am not sure if those you refer to also give you a day to pay, like Dartford?'
I'd just weigh up the potential costs and stresses of fines against the cost of the tolls....probably best to pay those you have doubts about *(if you still can) and not make this mistake again, check the tolls enroute before going.

I don't think that's strictly true, Bath has active congestion charging. But it doesn't seem to apply to cars, so this is why I asked what they're driving.You can find out from your registration centrally : https://www.gov.uk/clean-air-zones

Don't forget the road bridge between Batheaston and Bathampton has a toll, although a bit hard to miss the pretty Grade II listed toll house, the road called Toll Bridge road and the toll collector standing in the middle of the road. : https://www.gov.uk/clean-air-zones
Wikipedia tells me that in 2021 it had the tenth highest revenue of UK toll bridges, with a revenue of over £1 million.
Also if boldeva is Bodelva near the Eden project you're lucky your car didn't end up stolen and sold to Orchard's scrappies as a toll by the proud sons of Kernow keeping up their smuggling/wrecking/milking tourists traditions...

I think you might want to re-think that one. You certainly have to pay in London (unless your taxation class is disabled). Don't know about anywhere else.

Almost but not quite, you have to pay to get back into Devon not to get into Cornwall so both the torpoint ferry and saltash bridge are tolls on the eastbound routes only.I've not lived in Plymouth for years but you always had to pay at a toll booth on the bridge so unless it's all now ANPR you should have already paid if you've gone that way (using A30 avoids the tolls!)
