Got done doing 91 on motorway (oops)... I have totally clean licence never got done before.

I have sent off the notice back to the police.

Just checking, this will "only" be £100 and 3 points and not the % salary thingy right? As far as I can tell the threshold for prosecution is 96mph?

Correct. 91/70 mph is a fixed penalty. Too fast for a course.

Ignore nonsense on the internet about "new speeding fines."

Turn Waze on before speeding and make full use of your eyeballs?

Waze good point as for eyeballs the things can get you 600-700 yards away apparently so very difficult to spot

Or...leave 5mins earlier, don't speed and avoid all the grief...easy...

Grandad post of the week.

Only thing you missed was using easy instead of simples.

At least 91mph is pretty good value. Getting caught at 79mph would be a real kick in the swingers.

79mph wouldn't have got points though (provided you haven't done a qualifying course already).

Surprised you didn’t say ‘move home and relocate to your destination, thus preventing the need to drive there at all’.

Yeah, me too. I genuinely am at a loss to know what satisfaction anyone would get from posting this dross.

Not much satisfaction getting three points on your licence. I agree with him.

Pistonheads. Where sanctimony matters. Even on Christmas day.
