Over a hundred people were arrested in protests over the Grand National.

It's about the ill-treatment of horses, it seems.

Two horses died yesterday. Do they have a point do you think?

You could say that they’re protesting exploitation of nature. Which is what most of them would say.

Of course they have a point, two horses died so some folk could put on a nice hat and have a jolly. It’s ridiculous.

It’s actually one of the things they’ve protested about lately that I kinda agree with. Not the right way to go about it though.

Now at 3 dead over the course of the meeting, just for gambling profits and so that people in cheap suits can quaff cheap lager at £10 a pint.

Protest is now at least making people look into it.

Didn't see that and you are quite right, I can't contribute.

How tiresome.

True. But without the nice hat and a jolly brigade none of those horses would ever have been born.

These horses wouldn’t have been alive to torture if we hadn’t invented the method isn’t really the win you think it is.

Mark this date down on your calendar Zedleg, but I’m not in total disagreement with you.

We spent decades making motorsport safer, for both drivers and spectators alike. I don’t see why the same cannot be done for house racing.
