Just purely being nosey but does anyone know what high profile trial is on at the Old Bailey today?
Heading into work we were held at the junction with several armed police on each corner, 4 ARVs then arrived blocking each junction along with 2 unmarked Toyota 4x4s each also full with armed officers, all masked up.

So over 25 armed officers I could see along with usual police.

Thanks, but which of those cases would require so many armed police? None are particularly unusual for the old Bailey

My Mrs is there on a conference. Allegedly. Don't think the ARVs will be for her.

Tell the truth, you paid for 25 armed coppers to keep your wife inside The Old Bailey and away from Oxford St etc.

25 armed police being way cheaper than your wife's shoe shopping expeditions...
