Got caught back in Sept by a Van doing 55 in a 30 coming out of an industrial estate.
Was in my partner's car so have sent it back stating I was driving.
Clean licence for over 20 years.
Would I be right to expect a day in court, a hefty fine and up to 6 points?
No excuses, far too fast for a 30 zone, I'm fully aware of that.
Not sure it'll matter but in Northumberland so Northumbria Police.

That isn't trying really, and I was sat next to my BiL when he got caught at 84 in a 30 years back! 3 Volvo T5 police cars came chasing after us(we were stopped at the traffic lights a bit further down the road), and they showed us the radar gun with 84mph showing on it!(we actually touched 110mph before we got to the lights though 
). Very very silly when I look back now, but he did get a £600 fine, and banned for a year, and asked to take an extended retest. That was back in the 90's though. I still get the blame now for that, even though I wasn't driving, because apparently I was a bad influence!
