Got flashed by a GATSO early December. 36 in a 30
Dual carriageway that for decades has been 40. Such is life in Khans London that hates free movement of people. Ironic given he's so pro-EU
Got the paperwork through. 1 week to the day afterwards.
It was me.
I sent the paperwork back saying as much, week before Christmas
Nothing back yet?
Met Police if it matters.

Not the Met but I did mine online and received the NIP 3 working days later - I would imagine that the Christmas break may have delayed things a bit though.Got flashed by a GATSO early December. 36 in a 30

I confessed to this forum of "speeding" where limits had been recently lowered. Got flashed by a GATSO early December. 36 in a 30

I found that the driving equivalent of muscle memory would kick in and, unless I was very switched on as I made progress, I'd find myself travelling at the old limit.
Something that surprised me was the puritanical response of the majority of PHers replying. For some reason a lot of them don't like speeders under any circumstances.

I sometimes feel that we have been infiltrated by Mumsnet and BRAKE.I found that the driving equivalent of muscle memory would kick in and, unless I was very switched on as I made progress, I'd find myself travelling at the old limit.

Sadly PH is slowly being taken over by the "wet wipes" from BRAKE org. I found that the driving equivalent of muscle memory would kick in and, unless I was very switched on as I made progress, I'd find myself travelling at the old limit.

Take heart though, there are still plenty of us ole fart speeders still around, we just don't stick our heads above the parapet's to often.

If you're going to be offered a course, they'll likely want this to be completed no later than 4 months from the date of the alleged offence. Likewise for the issue of an offer to accept a fixed penalty.Got flashed by a GATSO early December. 36 in a 30

Yeah, seems that 36 is within Mets criteria for a Speed awareness course. Means you could be waiting a little longer for something to drop through your leterbox.
