Myself and the Mrs are in a legal dispute with another. They are using a Solicitors that, when i check Companies house, has this as the latest entry.

"final gazette dissolved via compulsory strike-off"

I understand that this means the company can no longer trade yet when i call they are still "that name" and running as before.

Can i ignore their threats? Could they just change their name? What am i missing?

EDIT: different company - name nearly the same, 1 letter different. My error; enjoy your day

Have you checked the firm against the Solicitor’s Regulation Authoritiy’s own website? You can search for firms and individuals there.

And a sole trader is unlikely to be registered at Companies House anyway.
