Radar/GPS/Laser detectors

OK, This topic's probably debated many times in the past but I've done a search and cannot find anything recent so here goes....

I have just picked up my new VXR Monaro and, being the barn-stormer that it is, wanted to ensure that I can keep driving it by not picking up too many points on my licence.

Any suggestions/advice on speed detection devices would be welcome.
