xmas present from nice police van
Discussion
A few months ago i got done by one of them bsatard mobile scamera traps. Whilst passing the same spot this time, out he was again making his money. Only problem this time was that i was in a convoy with a police van leading the way. No-one was speeding and if looks could kill. Well it made my day.
On a seperate note after previously getting a fixed penalty notice i have attempted going down the pace route, to date i have received a reminder with a 28 day extension to accept the fixed penalty notice, now also received a letter giving me 7 days to accept penalty else court proceedings will begin. As of yet i've had no acknowledgement of my pace letter. Anyone have any ideas how i should proceed? I kept copies of everything plus sent pace by recorded delivery.
Thanks as always

Raja, my impression (not legal opinion!) from viewing the endless parade of people charged with speeding offences, however enforced, is that one may buy justice.
There are very few loopholes that can be conveniently used by the common man without either a lot of work and luck, or legal knowledge.
If you get a decent motoring focussed solicitor, there may be endless legal routes you can follow.
If you dont, 3 points and sixty quid is cheap compared to what can be thrown at you by the courts if you try and loophole your way out of it and fail.
All IMHO of course...
