Old news but still funny

A few years ago the Police were getting so many complains about bikers speeding on a deserted road in Scotland.
So one Sunday morining a Panda was sent to catch the criminals with their radar gun.
They heard a bike on full chat heading in their direction, aiming the hairdryer towards the oncoming sound, they waited for the bike to appear.
Meanwhile a few miles away was an RAF jet doing low level practice. The pilots equipment sensed that the aircraft had been locked on by unknown radar. This automaticaly arms the weapons systems.
The pilot then headed in the direction of the radar source. When he spotted the panda he switched of the weapons and buzzed the dismayed coppers.
Shame he didn't bomb them.
I do hope it was true.

Or perhaps, Some readers don't know everything, as others seem to imply they do.
Perhaps you'd like to tell us about the bloke who strapped a rocket motor to his car next?

Is this old news day or something ! ![]()
First we get the camera caught you site....
and now we get this old story about the RAF jet and Gatso.
Perhaps some people have just got new PC's for xmas and opened early.
I would not put it past some of the RAF pilots to try doing that to a fixed gatso in a harrier

Had a colleuge at work who told that story down the pub, and insisted that it really honestly happened to his mate who is in the RAF police, and it almost got to blows at how insistant he was that it was true etc etc...
Bizarre really. Pointed him at Snopes and he refused to read it!
Why people go so far to prove these legends belong to them is beyond me...
