Another Bint on the hard shoulder....
Discussion
This is starting to annoy me more and more, it seems after the publicity that bint on the M6 got, people now think it is acceptable to park on the side of a dual carriageway/motorway.
I was listening to R1 this morning, Chris Moyles, Celebrity Tarzan. Some dozy bint from norfolk phones in, with 10 seconds she says 'I'm on the hard shoulder on the M25 which is making me a little bit nervous'

So she decides she wants to phone into a radio show so stops on the hard shoulder of the M25 at 8 in the morning to do it
It does not stop there however, with my blood suitably boiled, I venture out onto a dual carriageway, there is a particular section which is a gentle left hand bend, but it is tree lined and this reduces visibility slightly, round the bend to be confronted by a newish Polo parked up at the side (there is no hard shoulder), left indicator on, driver on the phone. This is the 3rd car I have seen like this in a few months, I really hope this doesn't become common.
And just as a side rant, does anyone else get really
when they are asked to go to X Company on Y Street in Z Town. They go to Y Street in Z Town and start hunting for X Company. After 10 minutes get fed up hunting, so phone the office/boss only for them to tell you, 'Oh, Actually its A Company, not X' and you've passed A Company 4 times

My GF and a few friends went to a club in Sheffield a few years back involved a 5am drive home of 4hrs. GF wakes up in passenger seat to find car parked on hard shoulder of M6 with driver sleeping.
Major flakey and 2 mins later my GF took over the driving duties.
Friend still cannot understand stupidity of actions.

ARGH!!!

Mind you, I heard a snippet on Jeremy Vine (Radio 2 for the yoof element of PH!
) where someone rang in... Caller: Yak... yak... yak...
Unknown voice: What do you think you're doing... Sir?
Caller: I'm on the phone to Jeremy Vine...
Unknown Voice: < incredulous tone > But Sir, you're on the hard shoulder of the M1..!
Jeremy Vine: Perhaps we'll leave that call there and move on...
I do hope the < unknown voice > had a pad of fixed penalty forms attached!

I believe that there was a cort case involving someone sleeping on the hard shoulder of the motorway. I seem to recall they were let off, as whilst sleeping on the hard shoulder was dangerous it wasn't as dangerous as driving when about to go to sleep!
However it might have been appealled or I might have it wrong!

What, thinking it would be OK to drive for 4 hrs, starting at 5AM after being in a club all night (and presumeably awake most of the previous day)?
I once saw a man weaving down the hard shoulder of the M5 on a push bike - the WRONG WAY!!! With a police range rover reversing behind him... Quite high up on the list of weirdest things I've ever seen, just above seeing "superman" crossing the road this morning.
Or at least a ginger superman. Anyway, back to work.

I heard that on the Chris Moyles show as well, and she didn't say why she was on the hard shoulder, i.e. it's a fair chance she'd broken down and was waiting for recovery don't you think that it's a bit premature to start ranting about it?
Well no, not really. Lets face it, if your broken down on the hard shoulder during rush would get out of the car, and go over the crash barrier out of harms way and wait for the very nice man in the yellow van, or would you sit in the car and phone in to some silly competition on Radio 1.
If I was broken down on the M25 Radio1 would be the last thing on my mind.
Dumbest bint I've come across for a long time is the one in the 4x4 merc that I have to navigate past in the morning. Always either doing her hair/makeup or like today, eating her breakfast - which BTW was not a handy bar of food or something, it was a pot of yoghurt - pot in one hand, spoon in the other -how many hands does that leave for the wheel? She even had the gaul to get abusive when I blared my horn in response to her drifting rapidly towards the side of my car (obviously legs not quite long enough to steer with
