Claiming a victory in that Mid Wales scamps have agreed that anyone accused by mobile camera will be allowed to see the full evidence rather than having to fight to get it out in court.

Not available online yet, but well done MCN! Now for the rest of the scamps.

Not sure what to read in to this.

First of all Mid-Wales doesn't have a pratnership of it's own, it shares with South Wales (might just be a hurried post or something...)

Also I can't see one pratnership going off and doing something like this unilaterally. I understand that Wilts allows people to view photos online, but not video...

Time will tell

Yes hurried its Mid & South Wales.

From reading the piece which I don't have to hand now it seems that MCN took up the case of a rider who was wrongly accused of doing a speed twice his actual speed. Close examination of the video / photos and measurements on site proved the case. It seems that the scamps were difficult about releasing the video / photos.

Allegations that a large number of people would pay up when faced with the prospect of a difficult defence.

In forcing Mid and South Wales and proving the point it appears that the rider was invited to the scamps HQ where a 1-1/2 hour meeting consisted mostly of their equiv of the Speedfinder General apologising profusely for the problem.

I can't recall whether it was editorial comment or quotes from Taffyfinder General but they say there is no problem sending out photos from fixed cams, but mobiles from now they will make available for viewing.

Thats as much as I can recall.
