Question re Police and complaints

Further to the threats that I was getting last week there has been a development. I have been informed by the guy making the threats that he has lodged a complaint against me with the police and I can expect a visit from my local bobby.

One would assume that if this was the case, I would have heard something from the police by now (he informed me of this about 7.30 last night)

I have phoned the local station (where my original complaint went) to see if they could tell me anything, but I couldn't get past the nice lady that answered the phone, she said they couldn't tell me if a complaint had been made agaisnt me, unfortunately the officer I dealt with last week is on nights this week! I have to phone after 9pm and hope that he will get back to me at a reasonable time.

Anyway, my questions are... would I have heard something by now if a complaint was made against me? and what do I do now? is this now harrassment on top of the threats (oh he has asked if I am firghtened enough to go to the police again)?

I've just gone and read the original thread.....IMO you have absolutely nothing to worry about...you have already reported this prat and with everything you have said the police will have him marked anyway. Even if the police do wander over for a chat (which in a way they should cos complinats should be followed up) you can just relay the story again. I assume you are keeping any abusive texts from him?? (V Important)

If you're just p*ssed off he is yet again hassling you, tell the same boby you dealt wiyth before about this further harassment and no doubt he'll go see him again.

Sorry for the delay in my responding.

I spoke to the officer that dealt with the initial complaint from me last night, he has confirmed that there has been no complaint logged with the police in the SE (where the prat lives) against me, but he did tell me that should any 'officer' get in touch with me then to get their collar numbers, names and station attatched to and phone my local station and they would check if authentic or not.

Have now heard from a friend that apparently we are making early morning calls to him, and from a number that no longer exists!

Obviously, the longer this guy rants about me, the more holes that appear in his story, I am actually starting to feel a lot better about all this, I have done nothing wrong and so have nothing to fear from the police, and in all honesty, given that I am in the NW, there's not a lot he can do from down south.
