just had a summons through the post re a spedding ticket i'm contesting, the letter reads
" an intermediate diet was fixed for 2/5/06 when you are ordained to appear personally at ****am. trial was fixed for 16/5/06 when you are ordained to appear personaaly at ****am at ....................."
as i understand it the first hearing is only to plead not guilty or guilty if i change my mind before then(not likely), could someone please advise if this is so as its an awful long way to go and i dont fancy public transport?
any advice much appreciated.
craig
p.s. dont know how much of a difference it makes but this is scottish law
