According to TVSRP news page, 23 people signed a pledge not to speed at the Bucks County Show (last September).
Anyone hazard a guess how many people attended the show? I can't find the 2005 figures, but in 2003 the Bucks Free Press report that over 30,000 people visited the show. The Bucks County Show Website says that 2005 was a record attendance year.
I'll be nice, and keep to 30,000. So 23/30,000 = 0.077% of the attendees pledged to keep to the speed limit.
Ummm - right, headline news....

Rona Heritage from Aylesbury was the winner of the speed limit quiz,
…but what was the prize I’m wondering?
A day in the back of a hot, sweaty little van, "on the job" with a scammer, getting abused by the public at large, and adding to the disintegrating relations between the police, the courts and the public?
Sounds like a hoot..
