9 Points Becomes 3 Overnight!
Discussion
I gained 6 points last year for speeding in the North East of England. However, I never received my licence back from the court after a five month wait. So I phoned up the DVLA, got a new licence sent through - and hey presto, only 3 points from a previous speeding conviction!
Where do I stand, do I shut-up or what?

Bit like playing poker.
Dont treat the points from the lost licence and they could show up if you were again involved in an endorseable scenario when Clerk of the Court would access your points not from your current Licence but from a form sent to Court with all points on it - unless of course DVLC have also got it wrong on their computer.
Also be wary that knowing you actually have 6 points and try passing the Licence off as only 3 THEY could start looking at the offence of using a Licence with intent to deceive. Serious matter.
