Rumble strip regulations

Are there any regulations about rumble strips as there are some round me and they are just plain dangerous. In the car they are annoying as front end runs wide but on the bike the same affect is a serious problem. If they were on a straight bit of roan in a 30 limit it would not be an issue but they have put them in the middle of a NSL corner which I consider to be safe at 60mph (apart from these man made hazards).

So what is the regulatory position or is it just up to councils to make their own and endanger bikers at will.
