I got caught on a mobile camera on the A5 in north Wales about 3 months ago doing 100mph (act). I sent the slip back pleading guilt with a grovelling letter the day it came. I then received a letter saying that due to the seriousness of the event it would need to be settled in court and that they would let me know when the court date, venue etc would be but I have heard nothing in at least 2 months is this normal? How long does it normally take?

Thanks Andy

oh dear, looks like it could still be a ban then!

is there a time limit in which they have to call me to court?

A lot will depend on your previous. You've fessed up early, you'll turn up in your best suit, speak nicely - don't be clever, tell them you're a good person (assuming you are)...

If you've not got previous...you might well escape a ban for that much -just, but then again, you might not.

100mph shouldn't be a hanging offence.

Check out the pepipoo site und also seek out a decent legal advice. If a ban cause you hardship und if you word correctly .. court take into account as well. Never had any NIP und am a clean living cat .. fairly domesticated really .. but am led to believe ist so to behave

Check out Pepipoo. If things go right then they will have no evidence against you.

However you can apply to have the case adjourned pending a high court case which may well decide the issue either way.
