Just heard this on Talksport radiio........7 scam vans scammed, the chief of Kent Pratnership filmed speeding........etc etc......harresment orders flying against Ian Johns to leave him alone........
Made my day.....Ruddy MARVELOUS news...........the two faced lying sods have been shown up at last!!!!.........

Ian Johns....a radio DJ, was receiving calls to the station about Kent Scam vans speeding...
They called the Kent pratnership and on air they were challenged for proof!....
So in good journalistic style.....They filmed 7 of them travelling at up to 10 mph above several speed limits including a 30 in a 20mph zone.....
Furthermore, they filmed the pratnership chief driving at 60 in a 50, 50 in a 40, 40 in a 30......etc.
He didn't like this and got the police to issue an harressment order against Ian Johns!...
They really don't like it up 'em do they?........WELL NEITHER DO WE!!!! ...........

It's going to be very hard for them to refute I suspect UncleDave (continous film with known recognisable points en-route which can be measured.......Speedo readings albeit non calibrated to support it)
.......I think they're stitched up (with a good lawyer). First it's the chief Constables, Then the MP's and the Magistrates.......Now followed by the Pratnership themselves who preach SO venomently against us poor lawbreakers that WE are SO SO BAD!!! ........

What we should all do is sign up for these community speed enforcement programmes and catch the scammers. If caught using there own means they cannot refute surely?
I was once o/taken on the M9 by a Police Van whilst doing "approx 70mph", the van was doing I would estimate between 85-90mph. No problem really except that plastered all over the back doors was the 'foolsspeed' and 'speed kills' slogans. Made me laugh, sort of.

On the hypocrite line of thought, I witnessed a camera van many moons ago pass me at approx 45mph in a 30, brake hard for a fixed gatso, accelerate again to 40mph (through a town) before piling into a layby, hard on the brakes and setting the camera up. How I wished I had a "Police, Camera, Action" style video of their driving....

Is he setting the example? Surely if he can ask for a harrasment order to be given against someone taking photo's of him speeding then we should be allowed to do the same against the Camera Partnerships?
We can't have one rule for him and another rule for the rest of us, after all that might be seen as abusing his authority.
