North of Heathrow they have a stretch of road undergoing works. They seem to have an average speed trap in place. Couple of Q's;
- They only got around to painting the cameras yellow abt a week after they were erected. Where would you stand if you were caught by a camera that was not painted the std yellow
- the cameras are tiny. and despite the fact they are yellow are very hard to spot. Does this not contrevene the efforts made by government to make these scameras visible

Dont think i have any issue here - just curious!!

As far as the law is concerned it doesn't matter what colour they are.

Whereabouts exactly are these works? There is a 40mph by J 17/18 - is that what you meant?

On the contrary, it follows the Govts policy of fleecing the motorist for more tax revenue, knowing they will have to pay as we rely on our cars to get us to and from work.....

I personally object to the cameras being active when there are no road workers in sight. And I certainly object when the cameras continue on for 1/2 mile past the last bit of actual roadworks.
