Cannot belieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeve it! <---- in a Victor Meldrew style

In the space of three weeks, I have been served with THREE NIPs.

The first I returned with a signed confession; yes, please, lock me up for doing 39 in a 30. Now, while my trousers are still around my ankles and I'm greased up for penetration, TWO more NIPs - one from Met Police, the other from Thames Valley have arrived. The latest allegations are 36 in a 30 and 61 in a 50 respectively.

My dilemma came after posting an earlier SOS in this forum when someone suggested I look at Pepipoo.com.

I did.

And the Wizard said I should take the 'PACE' route.

Unless I have this completely misinterpreted, one side of the coin is to let El Copperonios have their way, while the flip side is to take them on in an attempt to hang them with their own loop hole...

Do I take on the law?

Fight them in court? and

Or take it like a man (I know, I shouldn't have been speeding) blah blah blah...

It's looking like the PACE defence is a reasonable option, even though the example on pepipoo is wrongly worded and needs to be edited slightly to be correct.

I used PACE and folded at the point of the Summons and pleaded guilty by post.

Bad move - got hit with a massive fine (several hundred pounds rather than the standard £60) and still got the 3 points. Still, at least the money goes to the courts and not the Scamera Pratnership.

Fight them in any way you think appropriate. That's what they're afriad of - clogging up the system...
