Just saw this in the Kent and Medway Scamera Partnership site.

Thinking about sticking one on my Elise...

No

I can see it, but you have to wait about 5 seconds or so for the page to finish loading......

I'm getting a PH sticker and one of these for the impreza. The irony is delicious

I've got 4 PH stickers already, so said irony won't be wasted on the Elise either!

Can they be stuck on the outside or are they window stickers?

They'd look good over the lens of a Gatso.

Ok then, it's a baby blue sticker with a cartoon snail on it, smiling out next to text which reads

BACK OFF!

"I'm keeping my speed down"

I've e-mailed my order and will post pics when I get them on the Elise

Why is the numpty sentence in quotation marks? Are they trying to say it in an ironic (using the modern kids' understanding of the word) manner?

It must be the snail talking.

Do they really think they can convince the public that it's cool to be a snail? Cough! W*nkers! Cough!

Kent and Medway is my local camera partnership too and I have some discussions with the guy who runs it (who, is in fact, a fairly decent bloke).

Their marketing really isn't that great. I've got a mug at home that he gave me with the same snail and "We don't want to catch you speeding we just want to stop you speeding" (or something like that).

They've very obviously not used a PR/Marketing company and just come up with them themselves 'in the office' so to speak. A snail is NOT the correct character to use as it instantly puts the wrong image into the minds of people they are trying to influence. Driving safely at the correct speed should NOT be associated with a snail - the image in your mind is very quickly an old fuddy duddy in a rover 400.

So much opportunity and wasted. Tell you what I do have on my desk that they also gave me...a speed camera squishy stress relieving thing.

And so it begins...

I might be able to get the best variations made up into real stickers - anyone interested?
