But it seems the motoring cash cow ist running dry of creamiest milky milk
He drive 4x4 out. He up Kengestion charges to extremities.. und all drivers played the speed cam game of slow down to 10 mph below limit und 10 mph above limit thereafter Udders a-running dry as high prices of congestion und public transport - und a fear of suicidal bombers und trigger happy policemen - make folk buy bicycles.
Only.. they are afraid of the non existent traffic. At a loss with plethora of 21 Shimano gears (simple really but 21 plus gears sounds ever so scary to someone who thought a three gear bike was epitome of "cool" last time he or she rode one..
So they .. ride on the pavements... 
Und then there are the lycra louts.. the arrogant greenier than thee who complain that anyone on bike ist a victim und procalim very loudly that the driver "intended to kill them" when they make silliset mistake like jumping red light or riding wrong way along one way street. und seek to cuase complete gridlock on last Friday teatime of the month. 
These are the red light jumpers.. the pavement cyclists who terrorise pedestrian und motorised vehicle user alike. Self righteous, arrogant .. kicking out at cars und people who happen - legally - in their way. Blaming everyone else for their near miss mistakes und claiming they aere saving the planet - yet buying Ryan Air returns for hols or even long halu with bike encased in PVC (planet destroying bags) ... und marvelling at the ethic poverty in these third world countries. Criticise und you are "enemy number one!"
Including now our Ken. Hailed as saviour over kengestion charges by these self-congratulatory idiots - they now "betrayed" as their hero tries to resolve the nuisance factor.. by daring to suggest that bicycles are registered, bear identifiable plates und offenders copped by cam..
had this a while in Switzerland. Tamed our cyclists und proceeds fund faciltities such as paths. Small plate there. Can be done
There - what a novel idea
Over on Paulie's site - posted what we understand to be one idea .. cyclist has identifiable number interwoven in gear - at his expense of course... or wears bib (fluorescent with number super-imposed on it... ) und bike frame, spokes, tyres und helmet also infused und engraved with this number along with any baskeet, pannier, saddle bag.
ABD had mixed feelings on the Vine show.

Part of this ist the dictating - imposition of more rules und seeking to gain profit under pretext of "road safety"
Middling aspect? Less bike theft. Tracing of truly dangerous on two wheels. Treating drivers/cyclists equally. After all if cyclists say they are bona fide road user und bike ist equal part of traffic - then all traffic must be treated equally und penalised if they break the rules.
The other side of fence of course. A sort of Schadenfreude that these militants receive a taste of own medicine.
