yeah in a rover! 156bhp

A lot less than a 156bhp is enough to get you in trouble if you don't show some care & restraint.
If I may say, you don't appear to have learnt from your last court appearance, so I wouldn't hold out much hope with this one.

The court convicted & banned you, so they disagreed on that point.
They will have a copy of your DVLA driving record for sentencing this time if convicted.

A "race anything" attitude (on public roads) will not stand you in good stead for the future.

and i do show care and restraint! have been driving twelve years. with only one accident! which was only minor, some arse in a nova pulled in front of me,and i swerved to miss him, catching his back end!

Clearly not with speed limits though, which is what is pertinent with your current predicament.

how many people actually stick to speed limits??!! and really 90mph at 2'oclock on a morning on a motorway isnt that bad. its not like i was driving dangerously!

Nobody said you were driving dangerously.
You were reported for speeding NOT dangerous driving. You roll the dice & sometimes you'll lose.
(The bigger the margin over the limit, the more likely that will happen & the bigger the potential loss)

Am lost for words. No idea what this ist about - cannot see the OP. Not sure I want to.

Perhaps this one may be a loss for COAST too! I refer to the rear-ender post. You have eyes -- use 'em!

Still wonder about how one can race in a - er .. Rover.. though..

I don't think the car is the problem, racing other cars on public roads is.

omg, like im the only person who does it!!!! i dont do it all the time, bcos most of the time my kids are in the car,n i never do it then!

und otr ppls ktns n cr d nt mtr tall thn

I am not a Handy user either. No matter I try to do wot trst du...

Und think am even more unintellible than normal

But seriously - we may be petrol headed piston minded persons on here - und we may blip over a speed limit und when in Germany - my car really has exercise well suited to its feline roots Und Germans learn a thing or two about speedy matters too

But racing per se - driving like a t t und not driving to safety led COAST system ist not what people on here tend to do. They enjoy their cars und developing their skills und apart from lieber von und spinny racer bloke und couple of others - most here dislike speed cam prats with vengeance.

That said - we do not play into their hands by the stupidity of racing on public highways or blatting around in urban settings.

You say you do not speed when your kids in your car? Well, might have escaped your notice. Ach - forgot - COAST cannot be one of your strong points (miaow! Fssst!) but other people drive around with kids in their car und they might just be a little upset und alarmed by your racing in an old Rover.

(sorry - getting in touch with my "catty" side! Must be one of them months - cymtriks got me well in touch with me feminist side too! )

Doesn't matter, the speed limits apply at all times. Other people will get the same punishment as you if caught (& do), you aren't being singled out.

If you want to drive on the roads you have to obey the rules. If you don't then you can receive sanction that ultimately can lead to you losing your licence, you know that but still choose to run the risk by travelling at large margins over the limit.

But who look after your kids when you out racing? I like to be at home with mine. One of us sometimes has to take the youngest for a drive up to the M6 und back at night. She not breed out. She like car - two years old in October. It soothe her to sleep.

But why do you drive in silly way? Ist more fun to do it right - skilled und professional....
