Brunstrom becomes a Druid
Discussion
Oh dear - he must have taken my advice und chilled out with the catnip in the mug of tea.
Ach.. I shudder to think of the next goings on at local Stone Circle.
Perhaps he think sacrificing driving licences on altar of a speed cam ist a truly pagan fest.
Und as for his idea of a holiday....
He need to let his hair down on a track day instead und get more into contact with the speedy und highly skilled side of life which matter

Is Brunstrom vonhosen in disguise, or should that be is von Hosen Brunstrom in disguise?
I doubt that, considering that Brunstrom has often looked into zero tolerance enforcing, I don't think vonhosen's bad at all. At least von also agrees with some discretion with speed limit enforcement (as far as I remember). I think it all boils down to how much you feel that the law should be the law.

whoops missed the button there
was going to say that I am doing each a dis-service by likening each to the other - but perhaps that's a bit harsh on one of them......

There are good Chief Constables and there are bad Chief Constables.
The former get on with the job quietly, effectively and with decorum.
The later, while attempting what the former do, also will do anything to get publicity and if you look at the track record of Blunderbuss you will see what I mean.
In doing so they do not enhance the standing of the Police service but make it a mockery.
I expect at this very minute he is working on getting admitted to Big brothers House.

What this represents is the true madness of modernity.
The spirit of our age - that of the excessive waving in front of peoples' faces the promotion of absurd, minority interest fad or quirk - represented spectacularly by this unapologetic goon.
That this gibbering imbecile held high, police office, was bad enough but this kind of pantomine nobularity is more than a little concerning.
Then again, who could not be troubled by any figurehead for whom strategy at any level required the ascent of divinity?
He looks ridiculous, he is ridiculous: he set a tone for one side of the debate as regards driving and thinks he's a wizard.
