NIP not in time

So I foolishly sped past a mobile camera van. This was on the 10th July.

I received the NIP on the 9th August, the actually NIP is dated the 8th August! I thought they had to send it to me within 14 days of the offence.

What should I do?

If you are not the registered keeper of the vehicle this is fine.

So if I'm not the registered keeper of the vehicle, then how long do they have to send the NIP to me?

As long as it takes if you are not the RK.

Agreed. They only need to contact the RK in 14 days. From then it is the registered keepers responsibility to pass the details on of who was driving.

I've got a lease car, so that'll be a no then.

If you want to fight it, you can admit it was you driving then request all the evidence in the hope they mess up and dont send you some or would rather drop the case than send you the full video of the day.

Or you could pay up. Depends how much time you have on your hands and how much the 3 points will affect/annoy you.
