Do know if this 'plague' has invaded your area but my local village
now has this local 'Gestapo' - saw they inaction last nite.
Does anyone know :
1) If they have had full police training to use the equipment
2) Whether it's compulsory to stop when indicated by these nutters.
Damm do gooders..
Think I might go and have an argument with them and made their life hell after all - no one seems to speed thru my village but this will just cause in-attention or an infatuation on watching the speedo and not the road / conditions / pedestrians.
What's your view ?

Whilst travelling below the speed limit slam on your anchors when you see them pointing the gun at you.
Do it often enough and I'm sure the villagers will get fed up with the screeching tyre noises

Nah as Dazren says......drop below 30, 1st gear, give some revs! The pillocks believe that a car doing 65mph makes 80% more noise than one doing 30mph. So pootle past deafening the feckers!

If one of them is wearing a Hi-Vis jacket and they point the device at you pull over and ask why you are being targeted. Then say 'wait a sec, you aren't even a real police officer!' drive off and make complaint that someone was impersonating a Police Officer and motioned you to pull over.
Best thing to do is this.
Get some beefy mates together and hire a white transit van. Put your best combats on and pile round there when the're doing this.
All pile out of the van mob handed and proceed to very obviously video the interfering w@nkers. Have a couple of the lads appear to officiously make notes and speak into mobile phones.
When one of the gutless faggots plucks up the courage to ask who you are, all pile back in the van and roar off.
Proceed to nearest curry house and laugh off tits.
Cue NIMBYs filling their slacks for weeks.

Just looked it up.
Impersonating a Police Officer.
Punishment = 6months or Fine at level 5.
The wearing of an article of uniform must be in circs where it gives the person wearing it an appearance so nearly resembling that of a member of the police force as to be "calculated to deceive". Intent to deceive is immaterial (Turner V Shearer 1972)
Sooo, if they wave you down to stop, sounds like they are impersonating police to me.. What do you think the odds are the police will do anything? I suspect a Private Prosecution on the other hand....
