Police programme last night

On BBC 1, all about traffic cops. One of them referred to a PBT/D? as being police short hand when dealing with a drunk.

What does it stand for Pissed Bastard Driving?!

I really liked the idea that those uninsured / unlicenced drivers had their cars CRUSHED!!

i always hate the bit at the end of the program, when they tell you what happened to that particular episodes stars. during the program they spend quite a bit of time bigging it up and telling you how bad the bloke is (like the lanky bloke at the end of last nights episode) , or how serious the accident was ( the taxi knocking down the girl), only to tell you at the end there were no charges brought, or that the there were no charges against the driver, and the girl was released from hospital the same night!

i wish they'd keep some sense of proportion.
