Scamera van on A21

Spotted a camera van twice in the last week southbound on the A21. They lurk in the lay-by at the top of the hill going south about 3 miles south of A25 junction. They have also been seen on the overbridges crossing the Sevenoaks by-pass.

Be warned.

not the first time i have heard of this location - sound warning indeed.
Other local locations are the A21 outside Bromley college which is very popular at the moment and also, as ever, the bus stop outside biggin hill airport where the dual carriageway bit is (where its still a 30 zone)

indeed - a more inappropriate 30 ill never find.
i was there a couple of weeks ago and saw no less than 20 officers present complete with vans, bikes and cars. i didnt get pulled but i did wonder what on earth they were doing - if the same officers ventured into sydenham, downham, streatham etc they could have nailed every other car for bald tyres, no insurance etc.
presumably some sort of training exersise - but why not train on 'real' targets?
