Hi guys,

No way car related but just a quick one for you guys with the right knowledge. If I was threatened by a neighbour on Wednesday evening how should I go about reporting it? All I want to do is have it recorded down should something further happen.

Very vauge I know but just hoped that someone may be able to give a bit of advice on the best way forward.

Thanks.

I believe that in you can contact the local police and they will recored that the situation has occurred without pressing charges.

This may help you if the situation gets worse as you can reference the previous occasion as recorded.

Thanks. Went through the non-emergency line and they said they were sending someone round. They were supposed to be here at 8pm last night but no one showed up??

I would hazard a guess that they were called to something that required immediate attention. Our cops are, apparently, rather short staffed (except for Diversity Coordinators....)

Do I detect the meerest hint of a bit of cynicism there, autismuk?

Moose:- Record the events in writing or on a private blog that only you can access. As has been said before, get Plod to make a record of the incident, but take no action at present. If you are not sure about lawyers, are you in a Trade Union or Professional Body? If so, they will have a tame Law Firm that you can have a free interview with in order to take Legal advice and record a statement for possible use in any future prosecution.

Whatever you do, don't take sh!t from bullies...
