ok when did it become legal and good practice to take speed readings from inside a van????

a camera is designed to be tripod mounted so the poor little operator doesn't become tired

but the tripod is designed to be a secure surface

since when is a van bed a secure surface.

if the van rocks a few degrees then the sights can move a few feet during recording

so how can the measurment be safe as the base for the tripod is sprung

so if the camera is not stable how can it take a stable reading it can only take a relitive reading

can someone please explain or is this just a tax and i shouldn't worry myself?????

It's allright, the operator's hand will be moving in the opposite direction to counteract the van's swaying...they're trained for this you know.

We need to train the local yoofs to shake vans instead of smashing bus shelters up.

The camera has been specially designed to obviate the need for any calibration due to vibration.. Amazing how they do it.. Just ask the SCP for the details, they will be happy to explain.

There's an independent expert who can tell you all about this, forget the chaps name but his experience has been in the design and use of ana1 probes for the masses. Sadly he hasn't been able to create one, but he's come close.

He's also got some fantastic training techniques, the things people can do with his lasers - tracking objects from best part of a mile away, whilst sitting in a wobbly van, in a field, around a bend, across the carriageway.

its ok, the van ALWAYS wobbles towards you so it registers a higher speed. after all speedos cant read low cant they?

its just a tax after all & then you get to pay more premium tax when the insurance goes up, they win twice.
