An appeal for safespeed maybe?
Discussion
Ive just been looking at the various threads regarding the donations and suchlike that have been given for the air ambulance, a worthy cause for sure, but i cant help thinking that safespeed would benefit from a similar kind of appeal? After all, Paul does what he does for us for nothing, he's not getting paid for what he does and hes running on an extremely tight budget.
Some readies chucked in his direction would have a beneficial effect for our cause surely?
just a thought, thats all.....

The SCPs are spending literally millions of our money just trying to fool us into believing that their flawed road safety policies and empire building is actually a good thing when clearly they aren’t. Yet a good policy could save hundreds, maybe thousands, of lives each year - as well as making the roads more pleasant.
A Safespeed appeal would certainly be of great benefit to all of us; as car and driving enthusiasts I can’t fathom how us Phers couldn’t also be just as generous for this.
However, would it be better to hold off until the YAA appeal has run its course?

Perhaps Henry should stick to sorting out Minnie Bannister, rather than trolling about SafeSpeed.
Air Ambulances and SafeSpeed serve very relevant (although widely differing) purposes and I am happy to subscribe to both...
The cash raised for the Air Ambulance by this site has indeed been quite remarkable, but if the facility is judged to be really worthwhile, it ought to be properly funded by the government.
I wonder if SafeSpeed has received as much support over the past four years as the Air Ambulance fund has received during the past four days. Somehow I doubt it, and if I'm right I find that disappointing and mystifying. Unless an organisation like Paul's can achieve something positive on our behalf, the sort of driving many of you enjoy will not be possible in a few years time. Please think about that.
Best wishes all,
Dave.

A good idea.
It would be great if everyone on PH could give even just the cost of a pint or two.
Safespeed is for real and often gets a mention in the national papers and other media.
Trolls who hardly ever post but do so when clearly frightened by the possibility of helping someone who threatens the speed camera industry should quite rightly be treated with suspicion.
