It was in the local rag. Plod want to arrest the person who did it. Presumably to give him a medal......
Twats. On what grounds? Blowing the gaff on State bullshit?
Pretend you're a Muslim. Can't touch you then...
I am sure that if someone were to publish on this website a link to how the big 'Gr' could be printed out at home, perhaps if enough people did it it would register enough support to get more people behind it!
To me it is a bit of anarchy that hurts no-one - and what kind of sentence will the bench be likely to put down with 30 members of the press watching.... That could only highlight the failings of the system further...

Ah but white middle class people have money in their accounts and genuine addresses - it's shooting rats in a barrel. Why catch nasty criminals who might shoot at you when you can get £60 (or is it £80) off an honest taxpayer?

If the sticker can be easily peeled back off is it still counted as criminal damage?
Yes if you even temporarily prevent something from performing its task, it is deemed to be criminal damage. That includes putting a bin liner over a gatso.
I'm sure that (1) the camera still works with its usual murderous efficiency (2) the sign is still 100% effective at warning motorists of the impending *coff* accident blackspot.
All that's happening is that Authority is being mocked - and Plod doesn't like it. So they ought to concentrate their Authority on something worth the attention, where it wil be appreciated and respected.
Like - uh -
- catching criminals!! Edited by simpo two on Monday 9th October 22:51

Another PR disaster from the Police - when will they learn?!
Not all members of the Police are idiots, but many, including this one, are. A removable sticker is not criminal damage and this sticker is clearly not affecting the sign's fulfilment of its purpose.I hope that the same officer will be following up all the people who have ever put a flyer under my windscreen wiper too on the same premise....
