92% for 'makes money', 8% for 'saves lives'.

Is it safe to assume that 8% of AOL members don't drive then hehe

I guess there are some, stupid, idiotic people who actually think cameras save lives.

Voted.

Worth a vote? Currently 92% believe cameras are for raising revenue and not saving lives...

Still 92%, total number of votes now up to 18,933 - I cannot believe there are 1,498 people out there that think they save lives.

It’s not 1,498 who think they save lives! There are people in the scamera partnerships, people who work for the detection equipment manufactures and those that are members of the ‘knit your own muselli, cars are evil’ brigade whose voting will be driven by motives not related to safety!

Yes quite. Most likely those with a vested interest in maintaining their cash flow!
